Marilyn Flemming-Dugan

October 8, 1951 to June 5, 2026

Marily Flemming Dugan, 74 of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on June 5, 2026 from bile duct cancer.

Funeral arrangements are private at this time. A celebration of life may follow at a later date.

Marilyn was born in Fort Lauderdale on October 8, 1951. She graduated from Stranahan High School in 1969 and attended Broward Community college.

Marilyn was married to Robert Dugan on August 12, 1988, in Fort Lauderdale; they were married 37 years.

Marilyn worked in accounting at EOSA and later as office administrator for George Watkins, DDS for 20 years. She was a true homemaker, enjoying her many pets and tending to her home gardens, and was an active supporter of animal, elder and women's rights groups.

Along with her son Jason they lovingly attended to Marilyn's mother Evelyn, enabling her to live out her later years in her own home.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Robert Dugan, Son Jason Hibbs, Brother David Flemming, sister Janet Kilon (Flemming), niece Jenifer Paeston (Sullivan), great niece Reagan Tarant and other family members.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her father Lee Roy Flemming and her mother Evelyn Cara Flemming (Smith).
