Christine "Chris" Hovis-Schafer

November 1, 1951 – July 13, 2018

Christine Hovis-Schafer of Tampa passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace. Born in Wilkinsburg, PA, Christine moved to Ft. Lauderdale at 9 months old and graduated from Stranahan High School Class of 1969. She started work as a dental assistant and retired as an oral surgery assistant. Christine loved her friends and loved her animals. She is survived by her husband, Bruce; mother, Rhoda Hamilton, and brother, Paul Hovis
